📢 WE’RE HIRING | American International School (AIS) – Duhok

The American International School (AIS) in Duhok, Kurdistan Region, is currently seeking qualified and dedicated professionals to join its team in the following positions:

1. Inclusion Coordinator

Department: Academic
Employment: Full-time | On-site
Contract: 1 year
Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Gender: Female preferred
Eligibility: External candidates only; expatriate candidates preferred
Language: C1-level English required; Kurdish and/or Arabic preferred
Deadline: 15 September 2026

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and coordinate the school’s inclusion program.
- Identify students requiring additional learning support.
- Coordinate interventions and develop/monitor IEPs.
- Ensure appropriate accommodations are implemented.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and specialists to support student success.

2. IT Coordinator

Department: Operations
Employment: Full-time | On-site
Contract: 1 year
Working Hours: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Reports to: Director of School Operations
Gender: Open to all
Deadline: 21 September 2026

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee IT infrastructure, networks, systems, cybersecurity, hardware, and software.
- Manage educational technology and school systems, including PowerSchool.
- Provide technical leadership to IT staff.
- Ensure IT compliance and support accreditation requirements.
- Coordinate with departments, vendors, and service providers to maintain secure and reliable technology services.
